I want to actually do things when we spend time together. To just play video games or watch movies, but still love each other. Most couples these days just make out the whole time they’re together, that’s great if that’s their cup of tea, but it’s not mine. I mean, there’s a physical part to every romantic relationship, I just don’t want that to be the focus of any that I’m in.
I want to have good conversations with whomever I’m involved with. I like having ridiculous conversations, and serious/intelligent ones too. My ideal significant other would be able to achieve both of those. I can’t deal with small talk, to be honest.
I want to be able to be honest with them, and I want to trust that they’re honest too. No secrets, no lies. I refuse to involve myself romantically with liars. Despite some past experiences, I stand by that. Lying is a no go, and my biggest pet peeve.
